Unlocked Australia Enters Final Production Phase Ahead of November Launch

Tourist Australia’s media division, Unlocked Australia, is entering its final stages of production as the team prepares for the highly anticipated debut of its first broadcast mid to late November 2026. The upcoming launch marks a major milestone for the organisation, which aims to deliver a fresh, dynamic platform dedicated to supporting and promoting tourism businesses across the country.

As part of the lead‑up to the premiere, a national promotional campaign is currently underway. Tourism operators from every corner of Australia are being invited to submit a 30‑second video showcasing their business, attractions, services or unique experiences. These short features will be incorporated into the show’s programming, giving operators valuable exposure to a growing audience of travellers and tourism enthusiasts.

In a significant boost for the industry, Tourist Australia Tourism & Media has confirmed that participation in the campaign is completely free, with all production and broadcasting costs fully sponsored by the organisation. The initiative is designed to remove financial barriers and ensure that even small or struggling tourism operators can take part. As participating businesses are not required to contribute financially to this venture, we anticipate that highly discounted pricing will be made available to our viewers.

Managing Director Vincent Borg said the decision to fully fund the project reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting the tourism sector during challenging economic times.

“This is exactly what tourism media organisations should be doing,” Mr Borg said. “Businesses across Australia are doing it tough in this economy, and they need real support — not just words. By providing this service at absolutely no cost, we’re giving operators a genuine opportunity to promote themselves, attract customers and generate much‑needed cashflow.”

Mr Borg said the Unlocked Australia platform will play a vital role in helping operators reach new audiences.

“The Unlocked Australia Podcast and broadcast series will deliver the exposure these businesses need to fill seats, increase bookings and rebuild momentum. If tourism operators across the country get involved, this venture has the potential to be extremely successful.”

The upcoming show will feature interviews, business showcases, regional highlights and behind‑the‑scenes stories from tourism operators nationwide. The format is designed to be fast‑paced, engaging and highly accessible, offering viewers a fresh perspective on Australia’s diverse tourism landscape.

With production nearing completion and industry interest rapidly growing, Unlocked Australia is on track to become one of the most influential tourism media platforms in the country. The first episode is expected to be finalised and ready for release mid to late November 2026, marking the beginning of a new era of tourism storytelling and nationwide promotion.

Tourism businesses wishing to participate in the free promotional campaign are encouraged to prepare their 30‑second video and submit it once the official upload portal is released in the coming days.
